Talani Newton
Talani Newton is a Melbourne based designer that has expertise in digital marketing, brand identity, fashion and graphic design. She holds a Bachelor of Fashion Design at RMIT. Talani has completed one year of a Bachelor of Applied Science (Majoring in Interior Architecture) and is in the midst of completing her final years online at Curtin University. She has also completed a Fashion Design and Styling Course at Central Saint Martins in King's Cross, London, England in 2013.
Talani’s transferable and diverse skill set, natural eye for exceptional design and ability to understand human behaviour through psychological studies has resulted in opportunities to work with high end fashion brands including Effie Kats as well as her current job as a Marketing and Brand Coordinator for Hirsch Hill Estate.
She has a particular interest in helping start-up businesses’ develop their brand identity and capture their story through digital marketing.
Talani’s creativity is inspired by her love of celebrating the female form and empowering the body. She grew up with a mother who always reiterated how important it was to have a voice as a woman and stand up for womanhood. This is reflected in all aspects of her design work that highlights feminine, organic, and refined aesthetics.
